Bursa İli Gemlik İlçesi Umurbey Beldesi‘nin Kültürel Peyzaj Özellikleri

Abstract

Cultural landscaping is a vehicle that carries historical events and past natural phenomena day by day, thus allowing the understanding of the
past. Cultural landscapes connect individuals to each other in a society, allows the understanding of the past, keeps the light on for the future,
source for tourist activities and allows local development. Therefore, the cultural landscape should be protected, sustained and are taken under
record. The purpose of this study is; protecting the lost traces of tangible and intangible cultural values that have been and are living in Umurbey
and to transmit to future generations to record, to evaluate under cultural landscape.
In the research, literature review and observation techniques were used. The main material of the work previous research on Umurbey,
domestic and foreign sources, internet access, data obtained from on-site examinations and photographs taken.
According to the results obtained from the study; Umurbey exhibits concrete and tangible cultural features that will evolve various cultural
influences in the historical process. In this area, the cultural landscapes that people and nature co-create are rural-agricultural-recreational.
